The continuous change in the exchange space is causing change and confusion in the marketplace. * Lastly the multitude of investments by broker-dealers in regional exchanges and in up and coming ECNs is a predictor of an increasingly electronic marketplace, one where all buy side traders need to understand the tools available and the technology trends on the horizon.
