THE JAI-ALAI SAVANT are a group that "negotiate the textures of punk rock and dub reggae." They have just issued their debut full length, Flight of the Bass Delegate and will be playing material from it here. The WATERBABIES are a recently formed superstar "noisejamrockelectrofreakout" project that features members of the BOBBY CONN band, CHANDELIERS, LAZER CRYSTAL and MAHJONGG. The group experiments with heavy rhythms, and use composed and improvised song structures to create deeply hypnotic passages that compel and confound.
