It's the highly anticipated return of this irreverent comedy troupe. They've been described as one part Monty Python, one part Three Stooges, and the rest just plain lunacy. Their show is a combination of skits and parodies, spoofs and silly fun. They've appeared on "America's Funniest People" and are regular performers in Las Vegas. It's time to stash the politically correct badge, buckle up, and have some fun this weekend with the Comedy Showcase's favorite funny boys. Showtimes: 8:00 & 10:30 pm Tickets: $8 in advance, $10 at the door

Comedian Dwight York is not just a funny character with an unforgettable style; he has great jokes. A seemingly endless store of original and clever jokes the St. Paul Pioneer Press calls “best one-liners this side of Stephen Wright.” Comedian Dwight York’s act has always been smart, funny and to the point. It was February 1989 when he took the stage for the first time. And from that very first open mic set, Dwight established what was to become his trademark style: clever, concise, non sequitur, impeccably timed setup/punchline type jokes. These finely crafted jokes, blended together with his quirky stage persona and his unique style of delivery, quickly established him as one of Minneapolis’s hottest young comics. In 1995, while still working his good paying day job and doing standup part-time, Budd Friedmann (famous owner of the world-renowned Improv comedy club) personally invited him to perform at The Vail Comedy Festival. Not bad for a part-time comic with a day job. He has since performed at the prestigious San Francisco International Comedy Contest a couple of times, landing in the semifinals both times. He’s also proven to be a prolific writer and in December of 1999 added “published author” to his credits with the release of his book, The Vile File – Jokes too Sick for the Stage. This collection of dark one-liners proved to be a great showcase for his writing abilities. He’s also a favorite on radio’s “The Bob and Tom Show”. His first appearance was a tremendous hit. His joke, “I was homeless for awhile – I didn’t want anyone to know so I slept in front of a Ticket Master,” became Tom Griswold’s “new favorite joke,” was replayed over and over and landed him a spot on their “best of” compilation CD for 2000: “You Guys Rock”. Since then Dwight has been a frequent guest on the show. Don’t miss the return of Dwight York!! Showtimes: 8:00 & 10:30 pm Tickets: $8 in advance, $10 at the door

Every Saturday morning, people from the Grex online community gather for a 75-90 minute walk, followed by lunch at a local eatery. Not all walkers are Grex users; we have regular attendance from friends, children, and pets. Sometimes complete strangers join us as well. Anybody is welcome. See the "Grexwalk Lunch" event for the location of this week's lunch. On every Saturday EXCEPT the first Saturday of each month, the walk is at Gallup Park. Meet by the parking lot near the Fuller Road entrance. On first Saturdays, we walk at Bird Hills Park.

"Folk icons of the Southwest" Tonight's show features two of Texas's finest songwriters. Tom Russell came from L.A. but now lives in El Paso. He's equally at home with big historical story songs and personal laments with his own kind of sexy gloom. He's written top country hits ("Outbound Plane") and incredibly complex songs that are like perfectly crafted short stories ("Touch of Evil"). No Depression calls Austin's Eliza Gilkyson "an exquisite weaver of story songs that strike at the heart of personal experience." Courageous, sometimes political, and always powerful, the songs of Eliza Gilkyson are edgy, passionate creations that ought to appeal to any Lucinda Williams fan in a big way (and Gilkyson was around before Lucinda was). She's also an L.A.-to-Texas transplant; her father, Hollywood songwriter Terry Gilkyson, composed "Song of the Wild Goose."
