One of the world's oldest orchestral ensembles, the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra's long and illustrious history includes associations with some of history's finest maestros, most notably Edvard Grieg. It is now under the direction of the renowned American conductor Andrew Litton, described as "very inspiring and deeply musical" (Bergens Tiedende). One of the music world's most celebrated piano superstars, Andre Watts joins the orchestra for Grieg's Piano Concerto in A minor. Also included on the program is Knut Vaage Chatter and Shostakovich's monumental Symphony No. 5 and Festive Overture, Op. 96.

Street Jam Reggae Award-winning Daddy Yankee started getting involved in the Puerto Rican "reggaeton" scene at the age of 13. Known for combining reggae and Latin rap, the newcomer teamed up with Playero before becoming a major local number.
