Guest are invited to attend a new volunteer orientation at the Schaumburg Central Public Library. What is a Time Bank? Time banking is simply about spending an hour doing something for somebody in your community. That hour goes into the Time Bank as a Time Dollar. Then you have a Time dollar to spend on having someone doing something for you. It's a simple idea, but it has powerful ripple effects in building community connections. Seats are very limited so everyone must register at http://WelcomeToOurCommunity.com to be guaranteed admittance and a seat. This is a free one hour orientation. You will learn how time banking works and how you can benefit being a volunteer with the Chicago Suburban Time Bank The orientation will be followed by a 30 minute Q & A for those that have questions about the program. Guest that attend the orientation at the Schaumburg Library and join CSTB will be credited with one (1) free Time Dollar.
