Musician, producer, performer, dj, overlord of US electronic vinyl labels. He is behind the labels Tora Tora Tora, Hidden Agenda, Stamp Series and ADDON. Techno and minimal releases in 2007 for Syndikat(Netherlands), Hidden Agenda and ToraToratora started off his 2007... He also has Prototype 909 back performing(as well as a super secret p909 studio sessions in july!!!). The Rancho Relaxo Allstars 3rd CD is out and European tour set for September-October. Remix for Droid Recordings(together with Tony Rohr) out in July along with a 3 track EP on Hidden Agenda with Rohr. His current sound blends techno and minimal to capture the energy + pulse of 2007. Always taking chances and keeping an open mind he has been known to throw down anything from electro to house classics to synth pop to abstractions during his DJ sets Brief history: Dietrich began performing live in NYC clubs when he was a teenager in the early 90s. Some of the first major gigs included Danceteria and Communion@Limelight. He formed Prototype 909 with Taylor Deupree and Jason Szsotek in the summer of 1993. Four albums and four years of constant touring ending P909 in 1997. Hidden Agenda was started along with Dietrich's moving to the decks. Releases for labels Sonic Groove, Tension, PlasticCity, Remains, Bipolar, High Octane, Blueline, Disko B, KK Records, DeepFried, Instinct, Sondos, Kiddaz FM, 12k, Taksi etc soon followed. His tracks have been featured on a wide spectrum of mix CDs from Danny Tenaglia to Andre Galluzzi to Erick Morillo to Frankie Bones to Miss Yetti and more. Schoenemann is also known for his more ambient and experimental recordings that began with the Rancho Relaxo label, and includes the Instinct Ambient series and was an integrale part of the NYC ambient movement in the mid 90s. this outlet is still open as part of the super group The Rancho Relaxo Allstars. Dietrich has performed all over the world-Berghain, Tresor, Cocoon Club, U60, Ultraschall,Love Parade,Maria etc in Germany, LaReal, Pui etc in Spain, Switzerland, Budapest, Peru, Puerto Rico, DomRep, Mexico, Canada,Amsterdam/Netherlands, etc and all across the US. Gordon Au began to play traditional jazz in middle school, and, by the time he finished high school, he had toured Japan and Australia, and played with jazz greats Gerald Wilson, Benny Green, and Ernie Watts. Au is currently studying jazz composition at Berklee, where he is a recipient of the World Scholarship and the Herb Pomeroy, Clark Terry, and Art Farmer Awards for composition and performance. He was recently selected to join the Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz, which restarts in New Orleans this fall under the artistic direction of Terence Blanchard. Jazz Revelation Records presents the 3rd Annual Kendall Square Concert Series, and is collaborating for the first time with the Institute of Contemporary Art to present Harborwalk Sounds: Berklee at the ICA. Both series offer FREE live music on Thursdays throughout the summer (complete schedule of dates and times below). Artists include Berklee student and alumni jazz, world, Latin, and r&b musicians, some of whom are featured on the new Jazz Revelation Records CD The New Old School, including Jake Hertzog, MUNDuO, Mateo Lugo, Zili Misik, Daniel Ori, Alex Terrier, and Juan Ospina. Jazz Revelation Records (JRR), Berklee's student-run jazz record label, was formed in the spring of 2003. The label is made possible by a grant funded by the college. Under previous management, Jazz Revelation Records successfully released the compilation CDs Rebirth, Two, and Ars Nova. Under the direction of current president Michael Borgida, the label has just released its fourth album, The New Old School. For the new CD, JRR gathered eight young, passionate, and committed artists from around the world, all speaking the traditional language of jazz in a new way. The Kendall Square Concert Series take place at 300 Athenaeum St., Kendall Square, Cambridge, every Thursday, noon to 2:00 p.m., June 7 – September 13.
