The Denver chapter of Ladies United for the Preservation of Endangered Cocktails (LUPEC) announces its third annual Breakfast for Boobs fundraiser, on Mother's Day, May 13th, 2007. As in previous years, Denver will flock to Hot Cakes Diner at 1400 E. 18th Avenue in Denver's medical district, where the ladies of LUPEC Denver will tie on the aprons and wait tables, slinging breakfast fare at dinnertime (5pm-9pm). But this year, the fun doesn't have to stop there, as a new chapter of LUPEC hosts an after-party at Rock Bar. LUPEC Denver, in partnership with Hot Cakes Diner, will donate proceeds from the evening to Susan G. Komen for the Cure (Denver Metro chapter), and Breast Friends, two local organizations that help women who endeavor to achieve early diagnoses of the disease, regain their health, and work toward a cure. No reservations can be accepted - seating is first-come, first-served. But, if you arrive and find a line, just think of it as active waiting - since all proceeds for the night go to help truly fantastic organizations for women who live with breast cancer.
