Meet The Bloggers and Cleveland Colectivo have joined forces to bring the conversation about the state of K-12 education in Cleveland online to broaden the dialogue and add new voices to the discussion. Join us as we ask the question, "How should we invest in Cleveland's children?". The K-12 Education Forum will feature a panel of speakers who are working to make a positive impact on the educational outcomes of our children. Hear their thoughts about how the community can make a difference through grassroots efforts and then share your own ideas. The Cleveland Colectivo is a giving circle of young professionals who annually pool donations to make small grants to innovative projects in greater Cleveland. The group believes that such investments can make a transformative impact on the community we call home. The K-12 Education Forum is the first in a series of forums designed to assist us make wise investments and to inform Clevelanders about the challenges and grassroots solutions that are being generated by citizens throughout our community. For more information about the organization, visit www.clevelandcolectivo.org. For additional information about the event, please contact Seth Beattie at 216.299.3851. Meet.The.Bloggers has partnered with IngenuityFest2007 to podcast a series of conversations with festival goers, artists, musicians, technology buffs and others during this year's festival. We've got a ringside seat VERY close to the main stage. Stop by during your visit to the festival and sit down with us. Join in a conversation. Suggest a venue that is a must see. Offer a name for an interview. The possibilities are endless. Northeast Ohio Bloggers will be on hand each day to answer questions on why they blog, when they blog, and how they blog. Our hours at the festival will vary each day so be sure to check out the hours listed. Look for us after you stop by Starbucks for a cup o' Joe.

Wouldn’t it be nice if you always had the perfect bottle of wine on hand to have with dinner when you feel like it? We are specifically referring to wines that would be destined for (near) immediate consumption – not aging. In this two-part series, we will highlight 12 styles of wines that, if you could reach into your cellar (or maybe a nifty wine refrigerator), can round out almost any meal you cook. Or, if you’re like a lot of us, carry out! From pizza to pot roast, Thai curry to gourmet mac-and-cheese, we will give you ideas of the pantry wines needed to stock your cellar for everyday use. The first six wines are specially paired with a menu from Grovewood’s award-winning kitchen. Tricia Phelan of Vintage Wine Distributor will lead the discussion. A complimentary recipe book of the dishes served (but adapted for the home kitchen) will be presented, with additional pairing suggestions for the wines to show just how versatile the list is! All wines will be available to add to your collection at State Minimum Retail Pricing, with case discounts available, including mixed cases. Reservations required. Cost: $58 per person, excluding tax and gratuity
