Every Saturday morning, people from the Grex online community gather for a 75-90 minute walk, followed by lunch at a local eatery. Not all attendees are Grex users; we have regular attendance from friends, family, etc. Sometimes complete strangers join us as well. Anybody is welcome. See the "Grexwalk" event for information about the walk itself. You don't have to be a walker to attend the lunch.

MARK’S love for performing was evident at a very early age - whether it was doing impressions of John Wayne, Maxwell Smart or Lurch for his aunts and uncles OR an impromptu puppet show for his cousins…MARK loved being in the spotlight! Most people fear speaking in front of crowds - MARK has ALWAYS relished in it! Whenever a teacher was looking for a volunteer to give an oral book-report (OR ANY PRESENTATION, for that matter!) MARK’S hand was sure to shoot into the air for consideration…BUT WAIT! Exactly WHEN did MARK get started with this whole “comedy-thing?” MARK got his start in professional comedy at an open-mic night at the New Chinatown restaurant in Albuquerque, NM; back in March of 1986! He honed his comedic skills in places like Houston and San Francisco - before he FINALLY ditched his “day-job” in September of 1988 and hit THE ROAD! The rest – as they say – is yet to come! Showtimes: 8:00 & 10:30 pm Tickets: $8 in advance, $10 at the door Friday & Saturday 8pm shows are all non-smoking

Andrew Bird is a concert-trained violinist who reveres the jazz masters, but does not imitate them. He explores various styles but will not noodle. Too modern to be classic, too classic to be modern, he produces a tight, early swing sound with saucy lyrics.

Hawthorne Heights is a "post-hardcore" rock band from Dayton, Ohio. Amber Pacific is a pop punk band that was started in 2002 as a trio of high school juniors who performed locally in their Seattle hometown just for kicks. Now, they continue to write songs about loss, love and friendship...but from a more grounded, yet still youthful, perspective. The Secret Handshake is the musical project of Luis Dubuc. This self-taught musician writes everything for this band in his room - alone with just his Wurlitzer piano and Apple computer. With one listen you can tell this band stands out from other emo tinged electronic music - The Secret Handshake's got heart and soul. This Las Vegas quintet plays rock, punk, hardcore and emo.
