Antiques Appraisal Day to Benefit Malden Public Library

The Friends of the Malden Public Library will host an Antiques Appraisal Day on May 19th, 2007, from 10AM to 3PM. The event will be held at the library at 36 Salem St., Malden, MA 02148 . For $10 per item or $25 for 3 items, have your treasures evaluated by Skinner appraisers. All proceeds to benefit the library. The library is handicapped accessible. As a general appraisal day, many types of items may be brought, such as porcelain, pottery, toys, dolls, silver, paintings, furniture, and rugs. However, please do not bring coins, stamps, jewelry or musical instruments. It is advisable to substitute good quality photos for items that are fragile - or for large pieces of furniture.
