Every Wednesday night it’s cut-loose comedy as we present the comedy of 12 of the current rising stars in the Detroit Metro area and beyond. You will see a variety of comedians from beginners trying their hand at comedy (sometimes they are the funniest) to established comics unveiling new material to the occasional comedian auditioning to perform at the Comedy Showcase. Trumpeter Wynton Marsalis is one of the most renowned jazz artists, classical musicians and composers of his generation. He has brought jazz to the center stage through his dedication, brilliant performances and vision. His prominent position in the performing arts was secured when he became the first jazz artist to be awarded the Pulitzer Prize in Music in 1997. Marsalis' career includes over 30 Albums and nine Grammys.
