Half social, half showcase the VJ Night is both a regular meeting point for VJs, DJs, and everyone who is fascinated by this highly artistic medium as well as a showcase of some of the best work of local talents. VJing as an emerging art form has yet to find a home in Seattle (in the US as a matter of fact) outside of the regular club scene and we have set out to change that. Every month we invite local artists to share their work and talk about their craft—what they do, why they do it and how they do it. We are excited to provide a forum for audiovisual creatives to meet, share, and enjoy the art of VJing.

In a town that boasts an unusually large number of top-tier jazz musicians, Doug Miller has long ranked as one of Seattle's most respected bass players. A mainstay of the regional jazz scene for two decades, Doug has appeared in concerts, clubs, clinics and on recordings with many of the world's leading jazz musicians. Jay Thomas, a versatile multi-instrumentalist, plays music that is eclectic, drawing on all musical situations in his life. His music could be described as lyrical without losing touch with the blues. Phil Parisot has established himself as one of the Northwest's premier drummers. As part of the Seattle Composers and Improvisers Orchestra, Dave has performed with Dave Holland, Gil Evans, Carla Bley, Anthony Braxton, Karl Berger, Bob Brookmeyer and Sam Rivers.
