Every Saturday morning, people from the Grex online community gather for a 75-90 minute walk, followed by lunch at a local eatery. Not all walkers are Grex users; we have regular attendance from friends, children, and pets. Sometimes complete strangers join us as well. Anybody is welcome. See the "Grexwalk Lunch" event for the location of this week's lunch. On every Saturday EXCEPT the first Saturday of each month, the walk is at Gallup Park. Meet by the parking lot near the Fuller Road entrance. On first Saturdays, we walk at Bird Hills Park.

Kirtan is a participatory, call-and-response, cross-cultural music experience that incorporates the audience right into the performance. Kirtan is less about musical ability or training, and more about the heart, reconnecting us with our inner self and universal consciousness. From his early beginnings on a small farm in Ontario to the present day, Leo Dufour has maintained an innocence that draws people to him. His stage presence can only be described as a childlike maturity, which in anyone else, would be a gross oxymoron. Leo grew up as an only child on his family’s farm which, for some kids, could be a lonely existence. Being the only child merely fueled Leo’s imagination. He created stories and voices that would become a staple of his material in years to come. Leo began his long career in high school where he performed for the first time in front of his entire student body. This was a formidable feat for a beginner and, according to Leo; it was a smashing success and fueled his desire to pursue his dream. Since then, Leo's goofy demeanor and outrageous observations have made him a mainstay on the comedy circuit for years… both here in the US and in his homeland of Canada. With material covering the entire comedy spectrum, DuFour lurches about the stage and delivers his diverse act with a spontaneity that takes the audience by surprise. His stories of carnivals and water sports are legendary (among people who have heard them) and his laid back personality only adds to his hilarity. From the Comedy Channel, A & E’s “Comedy on the Road,” SHOWTIME and CBS we present one of Canada’s premiere comedians. SHOWTIMES: 8:00 & 10:30 pm TICKETS: $10 in advance, $12 at the door
