In addition to the presentation of our Someone to Watch award, we will also announce the winners of our Best Documentary, Best Narrative and Best Animation awards. These awards are given to selected filmmakers who have screened their films in our screening series at the Pioneer Theater in 2007. Special guests include: Cynthia Wade, Academy Award winning director of Freeheld, and Laura Paglin, Recipient of the 2006 CWNY Someone To Watch Award and director of No Umbrella: Election Day In The City. We will also hold a very special ceremony honoring the achievements of CWNY's founders, past presidents and board members. Tickets are $30, and are available on our website: www.cinewomenny.org.
