Growing each year, the Albuquerque Folk Festival schedules 8 non-stop hours of performances, jam sessions, storytelling and dance, instrument and singing workshops, hands-on arts and crafts, plus three evening dances. The Festival attracts professional and amateur musicians and dancers and folk music lovers of all ages from all over the state and beyond, with over 100 separate events. This year, the festival introduces a band/dance scramble. Main stage performers: Jonathan Edwards, Boulder Acoustic Society, Daybreak Express, Elliott's Ramblers, Ronald Roybal, Antonia Apodaca with Bayou Seco, La Rondalla. Tickets: $15 at the gate. $10 in advance (see website for advance ticket locations). $5 seniors and children 11-17. Children 10 and under are free.
