The Unison Music Summer Tour consists of Peech, Marianne Keith, and Noah Sugarman playing acoustic sets of songs from their upcoming albums to be released this summer. The tour is 30 shows in 30 days from Eugene, Oregon down to San Diego, California. This is the first tour by the new indie record label, and what makes it so unique is the amount of involvement by the artists. These passionate musicians not only write and perform their own music, but they book their own shows, plan their own tour, drive their own tour bus, and carry their own equipment. They do all this just to provide entertainment to people who haven't seen their art before.Event submitted by Eventful.com on behalf of muzicmanagement.

Wayne makes music fit for any road house anywhere. With his unmistakable voice, The Trains reckless honky-tonk can move the dead. If you see him live, youll surely work up some sweat stains on that snazzy Rayon shirt youre wearing. If you buy his records, youll be rolling up your carpets, spreading sawdust on the hardwood, and dancing until the downstairs neighbors are banging their brooms on the ceiling. Wayne's disdain for the slick new swill that passes for real deal country is well known. Like he's fond of saying: "Man, I'm like a stab wound in the fabric of country music in Nashville. See that bloodstain slowly spreading? That's me." Look for the newest CD by Wayne Hancock, Tulsa, on Bloodshot Records. The 34th Annual Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach will become a three-day celebration of Champ Car racing this April 18-20 and signal a new era in open-wheel racing coming in 2009. It will be the fans’ last chance to see the up-to-800 horsepower, turbocharged Champ Cars run on the famed 1.97-mile, 11-turn Long Beach race circuit, or, for that matter, anywhere else. Champ Car and the Indy Racing League (IRL) signed a landmark agreement Feb. 22 to unify open-wheel racing. “For 25 years, we’ve hosted a series that has given our fans countless great racing thrills,” said Jim Michaelian, president and CEO of the Grand Prix Association of Long Beach. “We plan on using the weekend of April 18-20 to celebrate the many notable drivers, great cars and memorable moments that have been a hallmark of Champ Car racing here at Long Beach for a quarter-century.”
