The IMA’s annual summer favorite returns. Grab your blanket and lawn chairs, pack a picnic and head to the IMA for movies under the stars. Young Travolta’s dazzling strut is in full swing and the pop music fizzes over in this endearing summery classic. The story of a greaser and a good girl comes off in a carnival of colorful costumes, frisky choreography, giddy nostalgia—and plenty of camp. Among many tunes, Aussie crooner Olivia Newton-John sings the Oscar-nominated song "Hopelessly Devoted to You." Costumes welcome. Preceded by the cartoon: For Scent-immental Reasons, with Pepe LePew Ticket sales begin and doors open at 6:00 pm for picnicking; films begin at dusk (except on July 11).
