Much of Pete Yorn's appeal is his down-to-earth vibe: He's cool enough for the indie crowd, tuneful enough for more mature listeners and he rocks enough to keep things interesting. His lyrics are clever but not cute and his voice conveys an earnest quality that never sounds forced or canned. A Sacramento based band, loosely following the footsteps of Sacto locals Deftones and Far with modern rock and eastern flavor.
