Rilo Kiley

Type:

Jenny Lewis, Blake Sennet, Pierre de Reeder and Jason Boesel are Rilo Kiley. Formed in 1998, the Los Angeles band offers up a healthy dose of thoughtful, electrically enhanced rock and pop ditties. With their 2001 release 'Take Offs and Landings,' the band found themselves opening for the Breeders, Pedro the Lion, and Superchunk. Rilo Kiley's follow-up, 'The Execution of All Things' earned many a critic's writeup in the fall of 2002. 'More Adventurous' arrived in 2004, with the quartet's current effort 'Under the Blacklight,' due later in 2008.
