PUSH 2008: The Fertile Delta

Where: Walker Art Center

Date: 2008-06-15 00:00:00

Type:

Each PUSH conference takes a penetrating look at the issues confronting organizations everywhere, offering the high-level perspective and advice needed to make smart decisions today, for tomorrow. This year we visit The Fertile Delta, the area exposed by the polarizing effects of global market, political, religious and technological forces. While this “space between” faces extreme, potentially game changing challenges, it also represents enormous, untapped opportunity. The shimmy and shake of these global forces is most certainly rocking your world already, influencing decisions made at the supermarket, in housing and in hiring. They are invisibly wrapping themselves around every node of society, and contributing to the near-term pressures we feel each day at home, in business and in politics. In a world where forces so far are felt so near, the real question is how will you - how will we all – adapt to the great divide? At PUSH 2008 we’ll see why polarization never looked so good. Why – as happens at the beginning of all new life - it’s a necessary process for a world in transition. Why the “space between” an old world and one just emerging is a fertile delta for innovative business models and partnerships that serve this new reality.
