Romantic musical comedy stars Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers in perhaps their best all singing-all dancing outing undertaken with the help of Edward Everett Horton’s classic fussbudget. Four Oscar Nominations including Best Picture and Best Song for Irving Berlin’s “Cheek to Cheek.” The plot is pure fluff – but who cares when the sets, songs, cast and dancing are this good? In 2003 Finesse Mitchell was asked to be a feature player on NBC’s Saturday Night Live. In 2005 he was promoted to cast member. Long before Finesse became a cast member on Saturday Night Live, he made quite an impact in the world of stand-up comedy. His witty sense of humor, Southern charm and stage presence makes him one of the brightest young stars on the comedy horizon. Finesse got his first television appearance on B.E.T.’s Comic View in 1999 where he instantly became a favorite among the shows loyal following. Shortly after he moved to Los Angeles, he then appeared on NBC’s Late Friday, had three appearances on The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn and destroyed the stage when he was asked to do Comedy Central’s Premium Blend. After moving to New York to become a player on SNL, he also had two appearances as guest on The Late Show with Conan O’Brien. Finesse is now headlining the best comedy clubs on the circuit and is always in high demand at universities and colleges across the country. His first stand-up comedy DVD entitled, “SNAP FAMOUS” which is produced by Quincy Jones’s son, QD3, (creator of Hip Hop’s “BEEF” series) came out Fall 2006. Finesse is also a guest writer and has a his own column in the works at ESSENCE magazine giving “relationship advice” to over 1 million subscribers. J.R. Remick exploded onto the Detroit comedy scene in 1989 and since then has become one of the more popular of Motown's homegrown talents. Combining observational humor with his uncanny range of over 100 celebrity impressions, cartoon and character voices, J.R. is viewed as one of the Midwest's top comic/impressionists. From Shaggy and Scooby Doo, to resurrecting Elvis as a bowler (The King Pin of Rock'n Bowl), and everyone in between, J.R. packs an animated punch! His amazing talent for mimicking has also allowed him to perform celebrity voice overs in dozens of radio commercials. His "All American" look has landed him a number of print ads and television commercials. This versatile performer also appeared in the films "Judicial Consent" with Bonnie Bedalia, "Nobody Knows" with Ralph Waite and the HBO film "61*" directed by Billy Crystal. Stand-up comedian, brilliant impressionist and television and film actor. Not bad for a kid who took his antics and daydreams from the classroom to a man who is now living his dream.
