Glen Phillips has been making music for two decades now, starting as the 14-year-old frontman of Toad the Wet Sprocket. His solo efforts draw inspiration from The Replacements, Talk Talk, XTC, and Peter Gabriel among others. Phillips melds his influences with the his indigenous SoCal singer-songwriter tradition, filling his music with heart and spirit. Jonathan Kingham is earning notice as a seasoned performer, opening for such artists as Shawn Colvin, Michael McDonald, Doug Stone, Vanessa Carlton, Jonatha Brooke, and David Wilcox. His recent CD is titled, 'That Changes Everything.'

The Puget Sound Millennium Goals Project in association with the Seattle Chapter of the United Nations Association presents a public forum to discuss how to further awareness of and progress on meeting the UN's millennium goals: eradicate extreme poverty and hunger, achieve universal primary education, promote gender equality and empower women, reduce child mortality, improve maternal health, combat HIV/AIDS, malaria and other diseases, ensure environmental sustainability, and develop a global partnership for development. Julliard grad Elizabeth Roy Roe's recent performance as part of the Rising Stars at Ravinia series was hailed as "stunning" by the 'Chicago Sun Times.' She performs Beethoven's 'Sonata in A-flat major, op. 110,' Mussorsky's virtuoso showpiece 'Pictures at an Exhibition,' as well as works by Wagner, Prokofiev and Glinka.

The hardcore punk, five-piece band the Dillinger Escape Plan formed in 1997 as an act against typical pop music and with an aim to redefine punk. Heavy Heavy Low Low are a pop thrash outfit from San Jose, California. Hailing from the once quiet desert town of Tucson, Arizona, The Bled exploded onto the hardcore/metal circuit in 2001. With their intense live performances along side bands like Dillinger Escape Plan, Norma Jean, Midtown and Recover, they were able to make a name for themselves within their local music scene. Bringing about a mature sound that clearly exceeds their age as a band, The Bled, following the road less traveled by, is now clearing a path for those yet to come.
