In 2004, a group of CCM jazz musicians asked if they could use Rohs Street as a venue they could call their own. Ever since Thursday nights have been filled by some of the most creative, edgy and talented jazz players this city offers. Quickly Rohs Street was considered one of the top jazz venues in Cincinnati. There since the beginning was the soon to be bass legend Steve Whipple. Don't miss him and his solid trio of Anthony Lee and Dan Karlsburg. $5 cover to raise funds to continue the quality music progamming at Rohs Street.

Sammy DeLeon was named the "hottest and most innovative young timbalero in America", by the Latin Jazz greatest TITO PUENTE. He was selected as an special invitee and performer to the 2005 Los Angeles Salsa Congress. His solos are full of energy and passion. This outstanding band has been awarded several times as the best Salsa and Latin Jazz band by Scene Magazine and Toledo's Bravo magazine. It consists of a vibrant rhythm section with Lorain's best Elmer Arrocho on bass and Cleveland's well-known Jackie Warren. Its horn section is led by Ohio's premier trumpet player Joe Miller, Steve Zambori on baritone and Keegan Woods on trombone. Gilberto Morales, the main vocalist is considered one of the top in N.Y. city. The percussion section is considered to be the best in the tri-state area with Nelson Orta on bongos, Manny Santana on congas and of course Sammy on timbales.
