The Australian indie pop octet Architecture in Helsinki hails from Fitzroy, Melbourne and counts multi-instrumentalists Cameron Bird, James Cecil, Gus Franklin, Isobel Knowles, Jamie Mildren, Sam Perry, Tara Shackell and Kellie Sutherland among its ranks. The band's musical arsenal is even bigger than its roster, featuring instruments as diverse as analog synths and samplers, glockenspiel, tuba, clarinet and recorder along with the more predictable drums, bass and guitar. Architecture in Helsinki began playing in 2000, crafting a mix of indie, electronic and pop that they recorded and occasionally performed live. The collective began recording its debut album, Fingers Crossed, in 2002 in a variety of places ranging from beach houses to proper studios.

The Atomic Love Bombs have exploded upon the music scene like, well, an atomic bomb. Made up of former members of established West Coast psychedelic and 60s garage rock-inspired bands including Jello Moon Shot, The Smile Experiment, My Cousin Mary, and The Daisy Chainsaw Massacre, The Atomic Love Bombs have definitely paid their dues over the past 10 years. They are a rock band’s rock band with a serious arsenal of psych-pop-garage hooks, meshed with inspiring melodies and lyrics that leave their audiences begging for more. Ash Townsend fronts the band with vocals and swagger, while the haunting guitar interplay of Michael Schifano, Bryan Chaffin, and Joe Mitch is inventive and adds a unique blend of melody and noise to each song. The rave-up rhythm section of Tim Rye and Mike McCaffery rounds out the band. “Like a cross between Jefferson Airplane and X…” Bill Donohue, PSM “Swirling, melodic, noisy, epic…” Mark Woodlief, Warp! Magazine The Silicon Valley Roller Girls, a non-profit womens' flat track roller derby league based in the south bay will be making an appearance with our now infamous Wheel of Misfortune, spankings, and other derby treats! Proceeds from this show benefit the Silicon Valley Roller Girls and will help finance pratice time, uniforms and upcoming bouts in the Bay Area. Tartufi features Brian Gorman and Lynne Angel. They make explosive, scary, pretty - and sometimes ouchie - epic masterpieces. Tartufi have been around since 2001. They have a strong and loyal local following and have been voted by the SF Bay Guardian as one of San Francisco's best live shows. A notoriously eclectic indie band, The Dont's spend an inordinate amount of a time improvising in their San Francisco studio, and have retained nearly seventy hours of internal recordings since their inception in 2003. Finn Riggings was conceived in Moscow, ID and born in Hailey, ID. It is an unorthodox trio, operated by two guys and one girl.

On Friday June 6th, Turnaround-Sound & Prismatic Tracks, along with Very Special Guest Hosts SASHA (FLIRTY-FLIRTY) & NICOLE DOHERTY (THE SHOW!) are proud to bring you the 3rd installment of “FINALLY!” @ PINK. From deep to vocal, funky to tech, jackin' to groovin', if it's high-quality house music then we'll be bringing it to you the 1st Friday of every month! For the month of June, we’ve got a bunch of special goodies to share with you. First off, lets tell you about the great talent you’re going to hear who also will be performing their PINK DEBUTS. Most people associate the skill of ALAIN OCTAVIO with that definitive SPUNDAE/Ruby-Skye big room sound, but for “FINALLY!”, you will get to experience a 100% HOUSE set from the man who’s been itchin to show San Francisco what he can really do to an intimate house crowd. For the old-school heads, we called in a favor from dj Gerry Roberts. Gerry was representing the East Bay back in the day, & now you’ll find him bouncing up & down the west coast playing venues like CINESPACE & Kitchen-24 in Los Angeles. For this fantastic night, be prepared for what promises to be a set that sets the night in motion! And if you ask around or viewed pictures from the last two months @ “FINALLY!”, then you probably heard that residents SEN-SEI & ANDREW PHELAN completely KILLED IT! If their infectious energy, tight mixing, & diverse track selection doesn’t get you sweating like a 2 hour spin class, nothing will! Expect San Francisco’s Dynamic Duo of Live House to go one step further this month. Now for the last bit of news to share with you; We’re going to be celebrating TWO BIRTHDAYS tonight! First off, it’s SEN-SEI’S BIRTHDAY (the 16 year veteran scene-ster turns 35!), & the lovely Diana Bertolotti will also be celebrating with us! So if there was ever a time to come out, “FINALLY!” @ PINK is the event you just can’t miss. Between the phenomenal music, the beautiful crowd, and a sexy venue with one of the best sound systems in the city, you "FINALLY" know where you'll be on June 6th! ***For complimentary admission to “FINALLY!” before 11PM, click on the following link for guestlist signup:*** http://www.prismatictracks.com/pinkguestlist.php FINALLY. The weekend is here! FINALLY. Some Beautiful, Soulful House Music FINALLY. The First Friday of the month. FINALLY! @ PINK
