Cindy Barber's Beachland Ballroom hsa become the "place to play" for local and national musicians. A North Collinwood resident since the '80's, Cindy sees the quality of her neighborhood. Her experience as a journalist and an entrepreneur has enhanced her ability to make The Beachland, a destination. Cindy recently was awarded the Cleveland Arts Prize Martha Joseph Special Citation. She is a former editor of the Free Times and Northern Ohio Live. She serves as the Northeast Shores Board Pesident and chairs the economic development committee which works to attract residents, businesses and investors to the lakeside neighborhood. Cindy will bring a wealth of knowledge to the table when we sit down for our conversation. Join us and ask her how we all can help with the rennaisance of Cleveland. The Beachland Tavern will be the host for this year's Bloggapalooza--Meet.The.Bloggers birthday bash held during this year's Waterloo Arts Festival.
