Based in Pittsburgh, Black Moth Super Rainbow has been around since 2002 and features an all analog sound, something like happy fuzzy pop and extremely psychedelic Krautrock. The songs are written from a folk perspective so the music never feels overly electronic and never sterile. Subtle are a sextet from Oakland, blending metal undertones with hip-hop and more.
