The Rhythm Room All-Stars were founded by harmonica player, band leader, and club owner Bob Corritore in 1991 as he opened his Phoenix blues and roots concert club called the Rhythm Room. The Rhythm Room All-Stars' specialty is vintage Chicago blues in the style and spirit of Muddy Waters, Little Walter and Jimmy Reed. This group not only puts on its own house-rockin show, but also serves as a backing unit for guest artists. Big Pete Pearson is one of Arizona's most popular blues musicians, playing clubs throughout Phoenix and surrounding vicinities.

Jarreau recently got back to his jazz roots on his 2004 recording, 'Accentuate The Positive.' One of the funnier comedians working today, Sinbad can be enjoyed by the whole family. Industrial pioneers Ministry hit the road for what will be their last world tour in support their final studio release, 'The Last Sucker.' Al Jourgensen and Paul Barker formed Ministry in 1979 as a post-punk dance unit playing fast, aggressive music in the style of British New Wavers Wire, Killing Joke and the Slits. Over the course of eleven albums and over a dozen tours, Jourgensen, Barker and the rest of the band have left scars on musical genres ranging from dance to alternative to industrial to metal. Ministry continued to write new chapters in the handbook of sonic devastation with the 2003 album 'Animositisomina,' 2004's 'Houses of the Mole' and 2006' 'Rio Grande Blood.' Al Jourgensen has also recorded and performed under other such side project names as Revolting Cocks and 1000 Homo DJ's.

Emery is a punk band from Seattle. In August, 2002, As Cities Burn was forged from the remnants of several local south Louisiana bands. The band quickly became known and recognized on the Baton Rouge scene for their passionate and energetic live show. Word about the band spread rampantly while As Cities Burn began to play shows throughout all of Louisiana, gaining an extremely loyal following. In October of 2002, the band released a five song EP selling over 1,000 copies. With new material and the further success of the band, As Cities Burn released their second EP in June of 2003, duplicating and surpassing the success of the first. With the addition of a new drummer, the summer of 2003 saw the completed band dropping out of college indefinitely. Each traded in their jobs and time with their girlfriends for a life in a van, in order to focus on spending as much time on the road as possible. The Veils are a New Zealand band based in London, fronted by English lead singer/songwriter, Finn Andrews.

The noisy, angular post-punk outfit Liars came along at just the right moment: Their 2001 debut 'They Threw Us All In Trench And Stuck A Monument On Top' came out at a time when indie-rockers wanted to do nothing more than hang out in Brooklyn, rediscover dancing and listen to Gang of Four-inspired post-punk. What made this foursome more than just trend-surfers was the fierce, genuinely psychotic brio they brought to this magic formula.

Irving Berlin’s I Love a Piano Wednesday, March 26 7:00pm Thursday, March 27 7:00pm adults $40 / students $5 I Love a Piano is the brand-new musical journey spanning seven decades of American history as seen through the eyes of Irving Berlin. The show follows the life of a piano - with one sour key - through four generations of singers and dancers who have performed with and around it. With 6 actors and over 60 of Berlin’s enduring and popular favorites, this spectacular show captures the spirit of America from the Ragtime rhythms of the early 20th century through the swinging sophistication of the 1920’s, 30’s and beyond. Timeless classics, such as “White Christmas,” “God Bless America,” “Puttin’ on the Ritz,” and “There’s No Business Like Show Business,” do more than define the music of a generation, they define the music of our country. www.iloveapianothemusical.com
