She sent out shockwaves with her singles 'Galang' and 'Sunshowers' along with her mixtape collaboration with Diplo 'Piracy Funds Terrorism.' Her debut album 'Arular,' capitalized on her mongrel mix of hip-hop, ragga, dancehall, electro and pop alongside uncompromising, spitting lyrics. This band plays punk music with excellent lyrics and a fresh, raw sound.

WHAT: "Front & Center with John Callaway", Chicago’s only monthly public affairs program on military affairs, takes a look at the role of the US military in over 3200 high schools across the United States. WHY: How does the City of Chicago maintain and support the largest and fastest growing JROTC program in the country, including five Military High School Academies? Can America teach students effectively and find people willing to serve in the military without JROTC? What does it cost, who really benefits, and what is the future of High Schools, Military Academies and JROTC? WHERE: Pritzker Military Library, 610 N. Fairbanks Court, Chicago. WHEN: The presentation and live webcast will begin on Thursday, February 28th, at 6:00 p.m. HOW: This program is free and open to the public. Pritzker, ARNG (Ret.). Since opening in October 2003, the Library has produced over 160 programs including author events, interviews with Medal of Honor recipients, and Chicago’s only monthly military affairs panel program, Front & Center with John Callaway.
