About The Thulsa Doom The Thulsa Doom’s music evolves the live jam concept to incorporate a melt of abstract live percussion, deep bass grooves, psychedelic guitar solos, and turntablism to bring a unique perspective to the art of electro-acoustic soundscaping. The band was founded in 2006 by members of bands including The Alpha Rhythm, Daigoro, Erbamate, and the F and the C’s. After constructing their first arrangements through an impromptu M.O. during live stage performances, The Thulsa Doom reinvented and evolved the structural makeup of each composition during each live performance. Vicissitudes was later recorded during a 72 hour recording session at Austin’s legendary Arlyn Studios. For more information, visit www.TheThulsaDoom.com.
