GO! 7188 play manically propulsive songs that are notable for their pop hooks, a winning combination that has earned them a large, large fan base both inside Japan and out. They have released some half dozen albums at this point, the latest of which, Manatsu No Dancehall, will be featured here. They'll be joined by COMOREVI BUTTER FLY, a group that plays enchantingly strange experimental music, compositions rich with looped repetitions and odd textural elements. Delightful, we're telling you. Frenetic rock trio DOSES have just finished a new album, one that should be available soon. If their live show is any indication, the new disc should be a burner.
