This free event will include lot’s of games, activities, contests and live entertainment as well as what we all scream for…ICE CREAM! Presented by Amplify Credit Union and Whole Foods Market and all those who love ice cream, the 1st annual Austin Ice Cream Festival is an event centered around family, fun, and ice cream which harkens back to a time when ice cream trucks roamed the streets and running through sprinklers was an art form. While having a great time, we will also be raising money for local charities, such as the Austin Children's Shelter, La Leche and Habibis Hutch.

Pong is a new project from some former members of the acid-damaged pop ensemble Ed Hall. The group still manages to evoke the !punk rock power' of Ed Hall, but adds elements of electronic, experimental, hip-hop and metal. Pong has two full lengths available, 'Bubble City' and their first effort, 'Killer Lifestyle.' Hailing from Austin, TX, Matt loves to tell a story using acoustic guitars and a pop sensibility.
