All of us, without exception, are here for our love of photography. It's really that simple. We met as different icons on flickr.com and came together as Cream City Photogs. Flickr. If you've never heard of it, you soon will. It's the Internet's best photo-sharing site that brings photographers of all talent levels, backgrounds, and styles together. Every major city in the United States has a Flickr group, where photographers who meet online can get together in real life for inspiration, camaraderie and friendship. Milwaukee is no different. Flickr brought us together, and like a microcosm of that web site, we represent a diverse array of backgrounds, interests, and photographic styles. Aside from a love of photography, Milwaukee is the one thing we have in common. Through our different lenses, you'll see many different flavors of Milwaukee as well as a sampling of other images unique to each photographer. Not content to limit our photographs or our Flickr Friendships to the computer screen, we joined together, sat down over coffee and beer (and pretzels), and worked hard to bring our aspiration of exhibiting on Gallery Night to life.
