Note that we will be meeting at MSOE from 8PM to 10PM for the regular meeting, but will also be meeting at 7PM at a local eatery to be determined. For September we'd like to do something a little different. With all the new members, we thought it would be good to go around the room and have everyone show something they've recently worked on, or are currently working on. It could be your own site, work you are doing for someone else, or maybe just something you find inspiring. There is also a good chance we will talk about the planning for BarCampMilwaukee2.

Wisconsins 10th Anniversary POW-MIA Balloon Launch

This event takes place on Memorial Day 2007 in Milwaukee,Wisconsin. It all happens at Veterans park on the lakefront, at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. This event follows the Milwaukee Memorial Day Parade which starts at 2pm downtown. Ceremonies begin around 3pm with Wreath presentations for our POW-MIAS. It is followed by the Missing Man table ceremony. The Launch follows with the release of 25,000 Black POW-MIA Balloons. This is the largest event of its kind in the nation, and raising donations and putting the event together is done by Volunteers. Please visit the site and you will find out what this Tribute means to all the Families of those Soldiers who have never returned home. Parking is available at the War Memorial Center
