Lejeune is a Washington, DC quintet dedicated to writing and performing romantic pop rock about the usual: Japanese nightclubs, dorm-room affairs, street violence. Lejeune's songs have been described as a soulful and velvety mix, inspired by '60s torch singers and spaghetti-western soundtracks. The Vita Ruins is an indie rock band from Washington, DC formed in December 2005. The band's first EP "Thanks for Your Concern (but we're okay)" was recorded during the early parts of summer 2006 while mixing and mastering was finished by the very beginning of July. The resulting sound of the EP was a satisfying one many thought not possible: soothing and atmospheric yet upbeat, pounding and very danceable at the same time.
