All student and faculty readings will be held in the Performing Arts Center at Naropa University's Arapahoe Campus, 2130 Arapahoe Avenue in Boulder. Ticket prices for faculty readings are $6 for the general public, $4 for Naropa students/staff/alumni and free for SWP students registered for the week. Rooney is a five-piece rock band hailing from Los Angeles whose music is reminiscent of artists spanning from the '60s to the present day. Although the group has a distinctive style, its sound has been compared to everything from The Beatles to The Cars to Blur. Having toured the nation with acts such as Weezer and The Strokes, Rooney manages to capture elements from the past four decades and make them sound modern today.
