December 7, 8pm; December 8, 8pm; and December 9, 3pm $25/ $15 students Chicago Tap Theatre is proud to present Tidings of Tap, a dance celebration of all things wintry, including pieces recognizing Christmas, Chanukah, and the snowy season. Tidings of Tap features seasonal standards and lesser-known songs as well as the spectacular dancing of Chicago Tap Theatre, the premiere Chicago tap ensemble. This unique production is rapidly becoming a tradition for many Chicagoan families, so CTT continues to repeat past favorites like “Name That Tune” and introduce new dances in the show, including an appearance by a naughty elf and a short, heartwarming story sure to resonate with the parents as much as the children. “It’s our special winter gift to Chicago audiences of all ages, backgrounds and beliefs,” said CTT Artistic Director Mark Yonally. Count on humor, excitement and maybe a klezmer surprise!
