Cinematic Sunrise is a side project of Chiodos' Craig Michael Owens and Bradley Bell. However, instead of the crunching guitars and blazing synthesizers of Chiodos, the sound of this Michigan five-piece features acoustic guitars and mellow vocals interspersed with the occasional piano.

Free No tickets or reservations required. Written and directed by Preston Sturges When an office clerk (Dick Powell) receives a telegram falsely announcing him the winner of $25,000 in a slogan contest, he gets a promotion and the girl (Ellen Drew) and starts spending a lot of money he doesn't have. Meanwhile, a stubborn curmudgeon (William Demarest, a Sturges favorite) is preventing the contest judges from reaching the final, unanimous decision upon which Powell's fortunes depend. Sturges's second feature established his delicate feel for both human comedy and drama and his acutely satiric eye. Panel discussion will follow.

Just about the only Russian rock band to nurse out a sound that resists an easy matchup with a Western source, Auktyon is consistently and wholly original. They are a legend in their homeland and a cult band in continental Europe where they spend half of their time touring. Their sound keeps changing all the time and now, complete with assorted percussion, multi-reed player, a trumpeter and a tubist, it approaches tight jazzy arrangements of Charles Mingus or Radiohead Kid A style. Three Russians and one American got together in 1996 to unleash "Siberian surf rock." They invoke the spirit of Elvis with a special blend of Russian ethnic music, reckless surf rock and vintage high-energy rockabilly. The band also provided songs and the score to the 1998 film 'Six String Samurai.'
