Mike Dillon is well known for his extensive work with Les Claypool, Ani Difranco, Hairy Apes BMX, Garaj a Trois, Critters Buggin and many others. All three musicians played together in the past, in the infamous TX band known as Billygoat. This new brainchild of Mike Dillon features a focus on funky grooves, but doesn't totally shed the freaky experimentalist nature that has been one of Mike's trademarks through the years. Hailing from Austin, Texas, Hairy Apes BMX is known for an exciting sound that melds unique instrumentation with rock music to create its own niche in the "post-modern experimental groove revolution."
