Roc Raida & Stanton Presents... The Gong DJ Battle - Los Angeles Hosted By Lord Sear (Shade 45) DJ Contestant Registration Begins at 7pm In the spirit of America’s favorite TV talent show of the ‘70s, “The Gong Show,” Roc Raida’s First Annual Gong Battle for World Supremacy will feature top battle DJs going head to head on the wheels of steel in front of expert judges…and a gong. That’s right, anyone caught slippin’ in skills, will get GONGED and have to stop battling immediately. Each DJ has only one minute to showcase the talent that is going to keep him/her in the battle. Only 16 DJs selected by the judges can advance. The rest will probably get gonged. Each of the 16 DJs will go head-to-head for only one round of 90 seconds each until eight are left standing. DJs that advance to this round will battle for two rounds of 90 seconds each until only four contenders are left to advance.

TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD 1962 35MM 129MIN DIR Robert Mulligan SCR Horton Foote, based on the novel by Harper Lee CAST Gregory Peck, Mary Badham, Phillip Alford, Robert Duvall, Brock Peters Seen through the eyes of Scout, a feisty six-year-old tomboy, TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD is an odyssey amid the fires of prejudice and injustice in 1932 Alabama. Presenting her tale first as a sweetly lulling reminiscence of events from her childhood, the narrator draws us in with stories of her daring neighborhood exploits with her brother Jem and their friend Dill. Peopled with eccentrics, the town of Maycomb finds itself the venue for the trial of Tom Robinson, a young black man falsely accused of raping a white woman. Atticus Finch, Scout and Jem's widowed father and a man of deep principles, is appointed to defend Tom for whom a guilty verdict from an all-white jury is a foregone conclusion. Juxtaposed against the story of the trial is the children's hit-and-run relationship with Boo Radley, a shut-in who the children and Dill's Aunt Stephanie suspect is insane and who no one has seen in ages. Although hidden treasures, found in the knothole of a tree near the ramshackle Radley house, temper the children's judgment of Boo, their fear keeps them at a distance. Then, on their way home one night, the children are saved from an evil born of ignorance and hate in a way that changes their lives forever.
