Taking its name from the novel Catch 22, the indie rock band Snowden its start in 2004 in Jordan Jeffares' bedroom during his senior year in college. The demo recordings impressed Jeffares' brother, who introduced him to like-minded musicians. Now a quartet, the band found local success with a self-released EP, which encouraged them to travel to New York for shows. The effort paid off, and Snowden found themselves opening for groups such as the Unicorns, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, and Arcade Fire. The band's debut LP, 'Anti-Anti' was released on Jade Tree in August 2006. Deerhunter is a five-piece electronics jam band from Atlanta, Georgia.

The sweet smell of success is already familiar to California-based ALO. Now, the rapturous quartet is ready to bring it’s joyful musical message to a larger audience worldwide. Roses & Clover is the anticipated follow-up to the band’s acclaimed 2006 Brushfire release, Fly Between Falls. Bursting with sun-drenched melodies, ALO’s latest covers a wide range of musical territory; from the reggae-tinged “Try” to the Ukulele-led funk workout “Plastic Bubble.” Over the past two years, ALO have greatly expanded their fan base via constant touring and phenomenal word-of-mouth. New York City-based hip-hop artist Aesop Rock debuted with 'Float,' one of the most intense albums in the history of hip hop. Based in Pittsburgh, Black Moth Super Rainbow has been around since 2002 and features an all analog sound, something like happy fuzzy pop and extremely psychedelic Krautrock. The songs are written from a folk perspective so the music never feels overly electronic and never sterile.
