Arthur Lee Land combines diverse influences to create a fresh new musical vibe: Afrograss Folk Rock. During a tour of Nigeria and Ghana, West Africa in 2001, Arthur spawned the concept of Afrograss: a synthesis of West African percussion and bluegrass in a folk rock context. Originally touring as a multi-instrument solo act, Arthur used "loop" (live recording) technology, to refine his musical vision by creating a One-Man Afrograss Folk Rock Ensemble.

Ticket prices for faculty readings are $6 for the general public, $4 for Naropa students/staff/alumni and free for SWP students registered for the week.
