Arthur Lee Land combines diverse influences to create a fresh new musical vibe: Afrograss Folk Rock. During a tour of Nigeria and Ghana, West Africa in 2001, Arthur spawned the concept of Afrograss: a synthesis of West African percussion and bluegrass in a folk rock context. Originally touring as a multi-instrument solo act, Arthur used "loop" (live recording) technology, to refine his musical vision by creating a One-Man Afrograss Folk Rock Ensemble.

All student and faculty readings will be held in the Performing Arts Center at Naropa University's Arapahoe Campus, 2130 Arapahoe Avenue in Boulder. Ticket prices for faculty readings are $6 for the general public, $4 for Naropa students/staff/alumni and free for SWP students registered for the week.
