Jeff is one of the most versatile and respected comedians working in the business today. He was born and raised a cheesehead and somehow managed to graduate from the University of Wisconsin. For the next five years he was a writer for newspapers and magazines throughout the Midwest and also a free-lance musician. In 1980 he moved to Minneapolis and launched his career as a stand up comedian. After quickly attaining regional success, in '83 he moved to Los Angeles, and in '84 made his national television debut on "Late Night with David Letterman." Over the next decade he appeared many times on "The Tonight Show" with both Johnny Carson and Jay Leno as well as the Letterman show and many other talk shows. Jeff starred in his own standup specials for both Showtime and HBO. He received a Cable Ace nomination for each, winning two. Jeff used his success as a standup to springboard into writing and producing. In '94 he helped Dennis Miller launch "Dennis Miller Live" on HBO and garnered two Emmys and two Cable Aces in the process, functioning as both writer and executive producer. He then became a producer and writer on the acclaimed "Larry Sanders Show" starring Garry Shandling. In 1998 Jeff moved into features, gaining screen credit for his work on the Warner Brothers feature, "Jack Frost." He recently finished a feature for Michael Douglas's company, and is developing both a feature script of his own and a television series. He writes and consults on Bob Costas0708' HBO series "On The Record." Every Sunday night, Jeff hosts ESPN Classic's sports movie show, "Reel Classics." As a performer, he's in demand in the corporate market and at the finest comedy venues around the country. NOTE: "If Jeff's show were salsa, it would be rated medium spicy, so not recommended for children and young teens..." Tickets: $12-$25

More than just another band playing music from the Irish tradition, Colcannon is one of the few groups performing today that has developed their own unique, recognizable and contemporary style while still keeping in firm touch with the heart and essence of traditional Celtic music. A concert with Colcannon includes traditional as well as original songs and instrumentals performed with all-acoustic instrumentation and presented with warmth, virtuosity and wit. Folk music, and the Celtic musical tradition in particular, has always spoken eloquently of the human condition, and the music of Colcannon speaks to the audience with laughter and longing, despair and hope, frustration and joy; the common threads of human experience. Colcannon weaves these threads together in a way that is intriguing, very funny, and always honest. Colcannon has recorded six albums for Oxford Road Records, which have received airplay on hundreds of public radio stations across the U.S. as well as in Europe and Canada. The recent CD release ‘Corvus’ spent three months in the top ten of the National Celtic Radio Chart in the U.S. Colcannon has also been featured in an Emmy award-winning concert video “Colcannon in Concert” that was presented as a PBS television special. They toured from the East Coast to the West Coast. Performance venues have ranged from community Arts Council concerts in small towns to major festivals such as the Merle Watson Memorial Festival and the Live Oak Festival. Tickets: $20-$34
