$6 at the door! Four bands: Called to Arms with The Blessing The Curse, The Avenger and Morning Amazing! Forged from the same pressure and elements that created similar bands from the same area, Called to Arms is now prepared to unleash their brand of sweetly tinged brutality on an unsuspecting national audience. What the rest of the world will soon find out is something that the band's diehard fans from their home scene have known for quite some time; that no one does what Called to Arms does. With blistering guitar sweeps and melodies, soaring keyboards and a punishing rhythm section the band's music is offset and uniquely made whole by lyrics that deal with hope and salvation in a world that often times offers up none. The band does more than merely speaking of helping their fellow man. They pledge a portion of their music sales to Forgotten Children, a division of World Help. Though they speak of a greater truth, they have not come to preach. They have come to show. Vintage21 (located in the former Jillian's location at the corner of West and Hargett in downtown Raleigh) is an all ages, non-smoking venue, so everyone can have a good time and ya won't stink when you leave. V21Productions has a bunch of other great live shows lined up - check it out online at http://www.myspace.com/v21productions or http://www.v21productions.com.
