In addition to coordinating the almost infamous Refuse! parties held at NYC hotspots such as APT, James Friedman writes for music magazines like XLR8R and The FADER, serves as US Label Manager for London's acclaimed Output Recordings, and works as a freelance music consultant. His sets blend deep electronic sounds with long-forgotten disco gems, oddball house and leftfield dance music classics.
