LAYDEN w/ The War

Where: Vintage21

Date: 2008-04-05 18:00:00

Type:

In an industry where originality and creativity are declining, Layden bridges the gap between several different genres of music while providing an entertaining and explosive live show. The name Layden derives from the word “laden” which means “burden” or “oppressed by something.” The spelling has the word “lay” in it meaning “to dispose of” in reference to any struggles or hardships someone may be going through. It is the band’s desire that through their music people may come to lay down their burdens. Vintage21 (located in the former Jillian's location at the corner of West and Hargett in downtown Raleigh) is an all ages, non-smoking venue, so everyone can have a good time and ya won't stink when you leave. V21Productions has a bunch of other great live shows lined up - check it out online at http://www.myspace.com/v21productions or http://www.v21productions.com.
