Rise Against is a melodic hardcore band from Chicago, Illinois, USA, consisting of four members, vocalist/guitarist Tim McIlrath, guitarists Joe Principe and Zach Blair and drummer Brandon Barnes. This band is a potent mix of youth crew style, metal edge, melodic energy and hardcore pride. Their message, though stated a thousand times before, comes off as neither cheesy nor insincere. Silverstein was formed in early 2000 in Ontario, Canada and acquired it's name after the famous children's author by the same name. The band thrived to tear down the boundaries between hardcore, emo and punk and with the addition of guitarist Neil Boshart, after founding guitarist Richard McWalter left the band, a myriad of new influences and ideas came in which is believed to have solidified and enhanced the band's developing trademark sound. Smoke or Fire is a punk band from Richmond, Virginia, USA. Clearly influenced by predecessors like Hot Water Music and Avail, these young upstarts also blend in some additional elements of Americana with their hints of The Replacements and Bruce Springsteen.

Wayne makes music fit for any road house anywhere. With his unmistakable voice, The Trains reckless honky-tonk can move the dead. If you see him live, youll surely work up some sweat stains on that snazzy Rayon shirt youre wearing. If you buy his records, youll be rolling up your carpets, spreading sawdust on the hardwood, and dancing until the downstairs neighbors are banging their brooms on the ceiling. Wayne's disdain for the slick new swill that passes for real deal country is well known. Like he's fond of saying: "Man, I'm like a stab wound in the fabric of country music in Nashville. See that bloodstain slowly spreading? That's me." Look for the newest CD by Wayne Hancock, Tulsa, on Bloodshot Records. Artie Lange was previously seen on 'MAD tv,' but nowadays, he lends his comedic schtick to the 'The Howard Stern Show.' Religious he is not! But, Bob is certainly one of the funniest, most irreverent, innovative comedians on the circuit today. A favorite of radio superstar Howard Stern, Bob is a frequent guest of the show, and without fail, every time Bob makes an appearance the switchboard lights up with calls of praise and compliments.
