New York Singles Awesome 80s Prom Starts: Saturday, April 14, 2007 @ 6:45 PM Cost: $49.99 Location: Manhattan Join Meet Market Adventures and other singles as we go back to 1989! Called "Totally Rad" by the New York Times, THE AWESOME 80S PROM, now in its third smash year, is a brand new interactive show in the style of Tony 'n Tina's Wedding and The Donkey Show, set at Wanaget High's Senior Prom . . . in 1989! All your favorite characters from your favorite '80s movies are at THE PROM, from The Captain of the Football Team to the Asian Exchange Student, from the Geek to the Hot Head Cheerleader and they're all competing for Prom King and Queen. Just like on "American Idol," you decide who wins, so watch out for moon walking and retro hits like "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" and "Wake Me Up Before You Go Go!" Dig out your parachute pants and join the break dance circle or just stand back and watch the 80s drama unfold. Who knows, you may even get to dance with The Captain of the Football Team. And this time, you don't have a curfew so you can stay and party after the prom if you'd like!
