Florida Regional Information 2008 The Florida Regional Committee is looking forward to another great event in the NEW University of Central Florida Arena. The constructon of the new arena is complete. There is a new garage behind the arena. The original arena (where the regional was last year) is now under construction and will not be available this year. Our plan was to use the original arena for the pit area, however the pits will be in the new arena with the playing field. We will be updating the arena floor diagram as soon as it is available. It is going to be tight, however we have made room for all 61 teams. The following information is provided to ensure your safety and make the loading and unloading of people and equipment as easy as possible: Maps are located at this link. 1. "UCF Arena" shows the new arena with playing field and pit locations. It will be updated soon with the pit arena in the new arena. 2. "Campus Map" shows the entire UCF campus. 3. "Directions" show the driving directions to the UCF from all areas in Central Florida. We recommend you take State Road 434 (Alafaya Trail) to Gemini Blvd North. Handicap Vehicle Parking is available on the first level of Garage D, across the street from the arena (No parking fees for handicap vehicles) 5. Vehicle Parking is available in Garage F and D ($5.00 per day). • Garage F has 550 parking spaces and Garage F has 1250. • Overflow parking is available in the parking lot behind the Garage D (No parking fee). 6.
