The Albuquerque Museum of Art and History will present the facts and myths that surround Billy the Kid in the exhibition Dreamscape Desperado: Billy the Kid and the Outlaw in America. Dreamscape Desperado will include historic artifacts from Billy and his era, along with a unique collection of pop culture items inspired by his legend. These will encompass everything from songs about Billy to comic books to movie clips. Open Tuesday - Sunday 9am - 5 pm. Closed on Mondays. Admission is $4 adults, $2 seniors, $1 children 4-12. Admission is free the first Wednesday of the month and every Sunday from 9am - 1 pm.

He has been the composer, lead guitar player, and member of several influential bands, including Vamos a Morir, Demonios tus Ojos and Mil Dolores Pequeños. Colis recently appeared on the Leonard Cohen Tribute Tour with musicians like John Cale and Jackson Browne. Grammy-nominated vocalist, composer, and arranger Perla Batalla was born in Los Angeles, where her father was a musician and owned a popular Spanish language record store. She first gained international attention as a backup singer for Leonard Cohen, who later encouraged Perla to embark on a solo career. Critics have called her singing "sublime" and her talent "stunning."
