Carrie Underwood

Where: Savemart Center

Date: 2008-05-28 19:30:00

Type:

Carrie Underwood was proclaimed America's choice in season four of Fox's hit series, 'American Idol.' The three-time GRAMMY winner, ACM Top Female Vocalist, and back-to-back CMA Female Vocalist of the Year earned her sixth consecutive number one on the country airplay charts recently with 'All-American Girl,' which also became her second consecutive co-written single to hit number one, following the success of 'So Small,' both from her Double-Platinum album, 'Carnival Ride.' Many credit Josh Turner's success to a deep baritone voice and gospel-influenced sound that has drawn comparisons to some of the legendary figures of country music.
